The welcome book — a one-time, AI-generated guest guide personalised to a single property you operate. It's a live, mobile-first web page your guests open on their phone, delivered as a link (and a printable QR card) you share with them.

You may share what you make with guests of the properties you operate. You may not resell it to other hosts, or use it as a template to produce books for properties you didn't pay for.

A generated, live welcome book within a reasonable time after you submit the form, and a private link that lets you edit it — no time limit, no extra charge, for as long as the book is live. Your guest link stays the same when you edit.

If our pipeline fails and we can't put it right, you're covered by the 14-day money-back guarantee on our refunds page. What we don't promise is specific places, a specific tone, or content that exactly matches a picture in your head — we owe you something useful, polished, and yours.

The one-time price shown at the moment of purchase — on the Etsy listing, or at checkout here on foreword.host (where payment is processed by Stripe). No hidden fees, and no recurring charge is required to keep your book online — unless you separately opt into a subscription tier, if and when those exist.

We reserve the right to refuse to generate a book that:

• describes a property used for illegal activity,
• contains hate speech, discriminatory content, or anything that would put a guest at risk,
• attempts to use our pipeline as a general content-generation tool for something other than a welcome book.

In those cases we refund you in full and explain why.

You own everything you type into the form — property name, address, quirks, host bio, your own local picks. You keep the copyright. You grant us a limited licence to process and render that content into your welcome book; we don't claim ownership of any of it.

The book as a whole — the layout, design, and accompanying AI prose — is licensed to you for unlimited use within the scope above.

If you opt into the “Tours & experiences” section when building your book, we add up to three top-rated local tours pulled from Viator. Those are affiliate links: if a guest books through one, Foreword.host may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing and never changes the price your guest pays.

The section is off by default and only appears when you tick the box. The tours come from Viator's live data — we don't hand-pick them and can't guarantee availability, pricing, or the quality of any individual operator. Bookings, payments, cancellations, and support for a tour are handled entirely by Viator under their terms, not ours.

We do our best to give you useful, accurate, current content. But we don't promise the restaurant we recommend won't close next week, we don't promise the Wi-Fi password you typed in is correct, and we don't promise the AI prose is free of stylistic quirks. Check factual details — addresses, phone numbers, opening hours — before you share the book with a guest.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. We're not liable for consequential losses such as lost bookings or bad reviews.

We may change pricing, features, or the rendering pipeline. Pricing changes only apply to new purchases — anything you've already bought isn't affected. Material changes get 14 days' email notice to existing customers.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Foreword.host is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country gives you stronger rights, which always apply.
