Refunds

Refunds

When we refund and when we don't. Short version: we'd rather fix than refuse.

Last updated: May 2026

Full refund — within 7 days

You get a full refund if any of these happen:

  • The book didn't generate at all (our pipeline failed) and we can't fix it within 24 hours.
  • The book generated but has a clear quality issue — wrong language, wrong property, broken page — and regeneration doesn't fix it.
  • We refuse to generate the book (e.g. content concerns we explain in the Terms).

Message us on Etsy with your order number and a short description. Because you paid through Etsy, the refund is issued through Etsy and lands back on your original payment method on Etsy's timing.

Regeneration, not refund — within 30 days

If the content needs editing — wrong wifi password, you want to swap a restaurant, the welcome message doesn't feel right — we regenerate the book for free for 30 days after purchase. Same process: email us with your order number and what you'd like to change.

This isn't a refund, it's a regeneration — and because the book is a live link, edits go live on the same URL you already shared with guests.

No refund

We don't refund:

  • "Changed my mind"after delivery. The book is digital, instantly delivered, and can't be returned in the usual sense. EU consumer law expressly allows this exception for digital goods delivered with consent.
  • Content disagreementswe can fix via regeneration. If you don't like a sentence, tell us — we'll change it. Don't ask for money back instead.
  • After 30 days, except for clear quality failures that show up after long-term use (very rare, but handled case-by-case).

How to ask

One message on Etsy (via your order). Include:

  • Your order number (it's in the confirmation email).
  • Whether you want a refund or a re-render.
  • One sentence on what's wrong.

We reply within 24 hours on business days. Refunds land in your bank 5 business days after we process them.

If something is genuinely off and not on this page

Email us anyway. The point of this page is to be predictable, not rigid. If you have a real issue we missed, we'll make it right.
